CAMPO DEL SASSO is obtained from Trebbiano Toscano grapes that Baron Ricasoli used in the Chianti blend to soften the roughness of Sangiovese. On its own, Trebbiano, despite its roughness and sour flavor, still brings those values of simplicity and genuineness, rather rare in white wines, which we manage to achieve thanks to the organic method and very low quantities of sulfur dioxide. The addition of Vermentino grapes gives it a pleasant fruity aroma and a slight savoriness.
